SHINee's Choi Min Ho confirmed his appearance in a new drama!
On September 15th it was announced that Choi Min Ho will be added to the cast of the upcoming KakaoTV drama "Goosebumps." This will the actor's first take in a suspense-thriller genre.
Veteran actress Choi Ji Woo and singer Jung Dong Won are also part of the ensemble and will appear on different episodes. The drama will be helmed by director Jung Bum Shik.
"Goosebumps" will be an 8-episode omnibus drama that will showcase the horrors people encounter in their daily lives. This will be the new media content project of director Jung Bum Shik. He brought a new style in K-Horror through "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum" and "Epitaph ."
Choi Min Ho will bring life to the role of Hoon, a curious and innocent person.
The upcoming drama "Goosebumps" is set to be released in the second half of this year and will exclusively air on KakaoTV.
This will not be Choi Min Ho's first time working for KakaoTV original series. He made a special appearance in the drama "Lovestruck in the City" starring Ji Chang Wook, Kim Ji Won, Kim Min Seok, So Ju Yeon, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Han Ji Eun.
"Goosebumps" will be Choi Min Ho's official return to the small screen after fulfilling his mandatory military duties. The idol-actor was discharged in November 2020, so far he has only done cameo appearances on dramas and variety shows as he wanted to focus on promoting music with his group, SHINee. Before the said KakaoTV drama, the actor will play the role of Wook in the tvN drama "Yumi's Cells." He will make a cameo in the drama to show his support to Kim Go Eun.
Choi Min Ho last starred in the 2017 drama "The Most Beautiful Goodbye" with Choi Ji Woo, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Young Ok, and more. He was also part of the dramas "Somehow 18," "Hwarang," "Because It's The First Time," "Medical Top Team," "To The Beautiful You," and more.
