"I kept getting rejected from auditions": "Queen of Tears" Lee Joo Bin Talks About Her Past Struggle
On March 20, Disney+ unveils the cast confirmed to appear in the upcoming K-drama Han River. According to sources, the actors selected are Kwon Sang Woo, Kim Hee Won, Lee Sang Yi, Bae Da Bin, and Shin Hyun Seung.
The K-drama is confirmed to release in the second half of 2023. The story of Han River revolves around the series of happenings at the Han River and how a team of officers of the Han River Police Force tackles the incidents.
Actor Kwon Sang Woo, last seen in Curtain Call as Bae Dong Je, plays the role of a just police officer Han Du Jin of the Han River Police Force.
Kim Hee Won, whose famous works include Silence and the Netflix hit movie Unlocked, will take up the role of Lee Chun Suk, also a police officer in the drama.
The K-drama will mark the second collaborative work of Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Hee Won following the movie The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful.
Lee Sang Yi, best known for his performances in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Youth of May, will play the role of a character named Go Ki Seok.
Moreover, the Love Alarm Season 2 actress Bae Da Bin, plays Do Na Hee working at the Han River Police Station.
And finally, the rising star Shin Hyun Seung, last seen in Behind Every Star, will play the role of Kim Ji Soo, the youngest member of the Han River Police Force.
The screenwriter and director of the mystery thriller is Kim Sang Cheol. Han River will be released worldwide through Disney+ in the second half of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!
