EXO's leader Suho will reportedly challenge the historical K-drama genre.
According to various media outlets on September 22, Suho has been picked to lead the upcoming historical K-drama The Crown Prince Missing.
Suho's agency SM Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, Suho did receive the offer to lead The Crown Prince Missing and he is positively considering it."
The upcoming K-drama The Crown Prince Missing will tell the story of a crown prince who was kidnapped by a woman who will eventually become the crown princess.
It will be the collaboration work of writers Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul, the same writers of the K-drama Bossam: Steal the Fate. This is the highest rating of all time for the broadcast channel MBN.
Suho got the offer to play the role of the crown prince. If the EXO leader confirms his casting, this will be his first-ever leading role in a historical K-drama genre.
There are no details yet on which actress got the offer to play the role of the future crown princess.
The Crown Prince Missing will exclusively premiere on MBN.
Suho is currently starring in the JTBC K-drama Behind Your Touch with Han Ji Min, Lee Min Ki, Joo Min Kyung, Kim Hee Won, and Park Sung Yun.
He also recently made a special cameo appearance in the tvN series Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun led by Jang Dong Gun, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Sae Kyeong, Kim Ok Bin, Park Hae Joon, and Cha Yong Hak.
Suho made his debut in 2012 through the K-pop group EXO. In 2013, he started accepting cameo roles in K-dramas. The EXO member is known for being part of the K-dramas Prime Minister and I, The Universe’s Star, Rich Man, How Are You Bread, and more.
Aside from being active as an actor, Suho is also actively participating in all EXO's activities.
