Go Min Si joins the all-star cast of the movie "Smugglers"

It was announced on May 6th, that actress Gong Min Si has accepted offers to star in the upcoming film "Smugglers" directed by "Veteran,” “The Battleship Island,” and "The Berlin File" PD, Ryu Seung Wan.

Other cast of the movie include top stars Kim Hye Soo, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo In Sung, Park Jung Min, and more. Filming for upcoming movie "Smugglers" is scheduled to begin this coming June. 

"Smugglers" will tell the story of two women, played by Kim Hye Soo and Yeom Jung Ha, who got caught smuggling at a small coastal village during the 1970s. On the other hand, Go Min Si will play an important role as the movie develops.

Other details about the star studded film are yet to be announced.

Go Min Si made her acting debut through the 2017's drama "My Sassy Girl.” She became known after appearing in the drama "The Smile Had Left Your Eyes" in 2018. 

She gained further fame as she made her appearance on recent dramas titled "Love Alarm,” main leads Kim So HyunJung Ga Ram, and Song Kang, "Secret Boutique," with Kim Sun Ah and Jang Mi Hee, and "Sweet Home,” with Song Kang, Lee Jin WookLee Shi Young, and Lee Do Hyun.

Currently, Go Min Si plays the female lead on the ongoing KBS2 series “Youth of May” along with Lee Do Hyun, Lee Sang Yi, and Geum Sae Rok. The young actress will also take part in the much awaited series "Cliffhanger" together with Jun Ji Hyun, Joo Ji Hoon, and Sung Dong Il.
