Media outlets revealed on February 10 that Jang Ki Yong has already picked his comeback project. According to reports, Jang Ki Yong will be the main lead of the upcoming k-drama Not A Hero which will be directed by Jo Hyun Taek (Snowdrop and SKY Castle) and written by Joo Hwa Mi (Introverted Boss).
Jang Ki Yong's agency YG Entertainment quickly responded to the circulating reports. According to the company, it is true that Jang Ki Yong received the offer to star in the upcoming k-drama. However, he hasn't confirmed yet and it is still under review."

Jang Ki Yong started his military enlistment in August 2021. The actor is set to finish his service this month. According to reports, Jang Ki Yong will be officially discharged on February 22, 2023.
