The long-awaited release of D.P. Season 2  is just around the corner, and fans are unable to contain their excitement. In light of this, character posters of the show's protagonists, including Jung Hae InKoo Kyo HwanKim Sung KyunSon Seok KooKim Ji Hyun, and Ji Jin Hee, have been unveiled.

D.P. Season 2 continues the gripping story of Ahn Joon Ho and Han Ho Yul, members of the Deserter Pursuit team, who search for and bring back the soldiers who have run away from the military.

The posters showcase the familiar faces of the 103rd Division's Military Police Team, who played a pivotal role in Season 1. Additionally, new characters are introduced from the Military Headquarters, expanding the world of the series. 

In the posters, viewers catch a glimpse of Corporal Ahn Joon Ho, now promoted from Private, Sergeant Park Bum Goo, who faced disciplinary action after the incident with Private Cho Seok Bong, Squad Leader Han Ho Yul who is about to be discharged, and Captain Im Ji Sup, who received an unexpected transfer order. 

After a two-year hiatus, D.P. returns with these characters, inviting audiences to witness their growth and delve deeper into their journeys.

The actors' dedication and passion for their roles shine through as they make their highly anticipated return after the resounding success of Season 1. Jung Hae In reflects on his character, stating, "I think I kept filming with the incidents and events that happened in Season 1 in my mind". Koo Kyo Hwan hints at the changes Ho Yul may undergo, saying, "Ho Yul remains true to himself, but as the circumstances evolve, we may witness a different side of his character". Kim Sung Kyun, who portrays Park Bum Goo, shares his thoughts on the deeper exploration of his conflicted character, noting, "Season 1 scratched the surface of the internal struggles faced by a working individual within an organization, and Season 2 delves further into this aspect". 

Son Seok Goo, portraying Captain Im Ji Sup, promises a significant transformation, exclaiming, "Season 2 brings about substantial changes and unveils unfamiliar aspects that viewers have yet to discover". Ji Jin Hee takes on the role of Brigadier General Goo Ja Woon, head of the Legal Office at the Military Headquarters. Ji Jin Hee describes his character as a challenging acting endeavor, distinct from his previous roles. Kim Ji Hyun joins the cast as Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun, a legal officer at the Military  Headquarters, determined to handle the Kim Luri case and resolve it in a manner that favors the military, manipulating the incident in a specific direction.
