Kim Ah Joong might finally return to dramas after four years.

Star News reported on April 16 that Kim Ah Joong is in discussion to be the main lead in the upcoming drama "Zero(0)". The main lead role was first offered to actress Chun Woo Hee

"Zero (0)" is a sci-fi thriller drama that will be directed by Lee Khan ( "The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful"). The script will be written by Lee Soo Yeon who was also the screenwriter for both seasons of "Stranger."

The upcoming drama will reportedly be released through Disney Plus (they are in preparations to enter the Korean market). Ace Factory will reportedly produce "Zero (0)".

Other actors who are in discussion to join the drama are Chun Woo Hee, Kim Mu Yeol, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Shi Young, Kim Sung Kyun, and Oh Yeon Soo.

Kim Ah Joong has not starred in dramas for almost four years now. She last participated in the 2017 tvN drama "Live Up to Your Name" with Kim Nam Gil, Yoo Min Kyu, Moon Ga Young, Yoon Joo Sang, Uhm Hyo Sub,  and more. She is also part of the cast of dramas such as "Wanted", "Punch", "Sign", "That Fool", "The Bizarre Bunch", "Emperor of the Sea", and more.  Kim Ah Joong was also part of the 2019 movie "The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos" with Kim Sang Joong, Ma Dong Seok, Jang Ki Yong, and others.

Kim Ah Joong started her acting career in the movie "Who's Got the Tape?" in 2004. The actress rose to fame with her hit 2006 movie "200 Pounds of Beauty" that gave her the Best Actress in the 2007 Grand Bell Awards. Since then, she's been appearing in several dramas and films.
