Kim Jung Seok will be joining the tvN drama "Little Women."

On September 23rd, it was announced that Kim Jung Seok will be added to the cast of the ongoing tvN drama "Little Women." According to media outlets, Kim Jung Seok's character will be an important key in the ongoing story. 

"Little Women" tells the story and journey of three poor sisters who get embroiled with the richest and most influential family in Korea. The story is adapted from the novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott. 

The series is the latest work of director  Kim Hee Won ("Vincenzo") and writer Jung Seo Kyung ("The Handmaiden").

In the drama, Kim Jung Seok will play the role of Lee Yong Gwi, a Vietnam War veteran who will be an important figure in the series and will give more depth to the drama.

"Little Women" is led by Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ki Joon, and Uhm Ji Won.

The series airs every Saturday and Sunday, at 9:10 PM KST. It can be viewed both on tvN and Netflix. The last episode that aired garnered an average rating of 8.3 percent. This was the highest viewership rating of the drama to date. 

This will be the second drama of Kim Jung Seok for the year. He last starred in the series "No, Thank You Season 2" with Park Ha Sun, Kwon Yool, Moon Hee Kyung, Kim Jong Goo, Jo Wan Ki, and Baek Eun Hye

The actor has proven his solid acting several times by appearing in different genres of dramas such as "Cheat On Me, If You Can," "Money Game," "Graceful Family," "The Secret Life of My Secretary," "Spring Turns to Spring," "My Husband Oh Jak Doo," "Prison Playbook," "My Only Love Song," "Falling for Innocence," and more. 

Expectation arises on how Kim Jung Seok's character will change the game of the fierce battle between the three sisters and the influential family.
