Kim Shin Rok will reportedly be added to the cast of the upcoming drama "Sweet Home 2."

On March 25th several media outlets shared that Kim Shin Rok will be included in the cast of the upcoming second season "Sweet Home 2." 

Kim Shin Rok's agency Just Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that the actress is considering the offer positively. 

"Sweet Home 2" will be the prequel to the first season of "Sweet Home," The series is based on the webtoon of the same name by Kim Kan Bi and Hwang Young Chan. The Netflix original series will be directed by Lee Eung Bok ("Mr. Sunshine," "Goblin," "Descendants of the Sun," and more.)

The first season was released in 2020. It became a huge hit not only in Korea but also internationally. 

Aside from Kim Shin Rok, "Sweet Home 2" will reportedly be led by old casts Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, and the newcomer Oh Jung Se. 

Kim Shin Rok made her acting debut in 2005 through the film "Rules of Dating" with Kang Hye Jung, Park Hae Il, Park Gri Na, Kim Se Dong, and more.  She made her first appearance on the small screen in 2020.  She became more known after starring in the dramas "Beyond Evil," "Hellbound," and "One Ordinary Day." 

If Kim Shin Rok confirms her casting for "Sweet Home 2," this will be her third upcoming drama. For this year, she will join the upcoming dramas "Moving"  led by Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo In Sung, and "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" with main leads Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min, and Shin Hyun Bin.
