Kim So Jin will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming drama "Vigilante."

On June 30th, it was reported that Kim So Jin will be included in the upcoming webtoon-based drama "Vigilante." She is the first female to receive a casting offer for the series. 

Kim So Jin's agency Plum A&C Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that the actress is considering the casting offer positively. 

If Kim So Jin confirms her casting, she will be working with Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, and Lee Joon Hyuk

"Vigilante" will base its story on the Naver webtoon of the same name written by CRG and illustrated by Kim Gyu Sam. It will narrate the story of Kim Ji Yong, a student at a police academy who has a heartbreaking past. He lost her mother to a local gangster. He decided to become a vigilante and kills criminals. 

Kim So Jin got the offer to play the role of Choi Mi Ryeo, a broadcaster in the drama.

"Vigilante" is in discussion to premiere through a global OTT platform.

In 2022, Kim So Jin starred in the drama "Through the Darkness" with Kim Nam Gil, Jin Seon Kyu, Ryeo Un, Lee Dae Yeon, Kim Won Hae, and more. She acted as a homicide expert in the series. The actress also participated in the film "Emergency Declaration" starring Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun.

Kim So Jin made her acting debut in 2010. In the early days of her career, she focused on appearing in movies alone. She was part of the films "The Terror Live," "No Tears for the Dead," "The Divine Move," "My Palpitating Life," "The Sound of a Flower," "The King," "The Drug King," "The Man Standing Next," "Escape from Mogadishu," and more. 

In 2016, she finally started acting in dramas. She was part of the series "Marriage Contract."
