Kingdom screenwriter Kim Eun Hee's upcoming supernatural thriller Revenant is set to premiere on June 23 as the new Friday-Saturday drama on SBS. To announce the premiere date of this Korean occult mystery thriller, a teaser poster has also been revealed.

The story of Revenant revolves around Ku San Young - a young woman who works part-time jobs during the day to earn her livelihood and studies during the night to seek a job as a public officer. One day, she gets her hands on some articles left behind by her father, and since then, she encounters mysterious experiences and deaths and finds herself gradually changing. 

But there is one man who can figure out the mystery surrounding the inexplicable happenings and experiences of Ku San Young. Yeom Hae Sang hails from a well-off family and is a professor teaching Korean folklore at a university. Ever since childhood, he had the unique ability to see evil forces and even witnessed his mother's death by a demon. Yeom Hae Sang sees the demon possessing Ku San Young, and together they try to uncover the truth of the mysterious deaths. 

Adding to the excitement are the talented actors, including Kim Tae Ri in the role of Ku San Young, while Oh Jung Se plays Yeom Hae Sang. Furthermore, Hong Kyung will be seen as Detective Lee Hong Sae of the violent crimes investigation team who gets entangled in the mysterious cases along with Ku San Young and Yeom Hae Sang.

The poster features hands emerging from the depths of darkness, seemingly poised to strangle, while numerous hands appear to restrain them, giving an unsettling atmosphere. The caption writes, "I killed a person, not me".

The production team of the drama commented, "The horror caused by the most significant attraction of the occult genre, the thrilling tension created by the successive mysterious events, and the hidden messages behind the narrative will all be included in this comprehensive work.
