Kim Yong Ji is in talks to join the upcoming Netflix original series "Bloody Finger"

According to several reports on September 13th Kim Yong Ji will be joining Kim Young Kwang in the upcoming drama directed by Jung Ji Woo ("Tune in for Love") and written by Han Ji Wan ("The Ghost Detective").

"Bloody Finger" is a thriller psychological drama that will present the story of an interior designer who is a sociopath with also dissociative identity disorder. The series will be based on the 2000 hit movie "American Psycho."

Earlier reports stated that Kim Young Kwang will portray the lead role in the upcoming Netflix original series. He will bring life to the character of Sung Yun Oh, the famous interior designer. Kim Yong Ji got the offer to star as the female lead. No other details have been shared about her possible character.

In 2020, actor Kim Soo Hyun got the first offer to lead the upcoming drama "Bloody Finger." Early this year, the actor declined the drama and it was then offered to Kim Young Kwang.

The release date of "Bloody Finger" is still not revealed.

If Kim Yong Ji confirms, this will be her first-ever starring role since debut. This will also be her first to take part in a Netflix original series. The actress was last seen in the 2020 drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" as Kim Bum's girlfriend named Ki Yoo Ri. 

Kim Yong Ji also participated in dramas such as "The King: Eternal Monarch" with main leads Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun, and "Mr. Sunshine" with main leads Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri. She also made a special appearance in dramas "The Lies Within" and "WATCHER."
