Kim Yoon Hye will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon.
On June 22, media outlet SPOTV shared that Kim Yoon Hye will be joining Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, Kim Hi Eo Ra, Ra Mi Ran, and Moon So Ri in the upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon.
This will be the second upcoming K-drama of Kim Yoon Hye. The actress will also star in the upcoming series Goodbye Earth with Ahn Eun Jin, Jeon Sung Woo, Seo Ye Hwa, Yoon Seo Ah, and more.
Last year, Kim Yoon Hye appeared in the K-drama Sh**ting Stars with Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Young Dae, and Yoon Jong Hoon. She was praised for her great chemistry with Yoon Jong Hoon.
She will also star in the upcoming films I Am Natural with Oh Seung Hoon and The Scene with Song Yi Jae and Park Ji Hoon.
Kim Yoon Hye made her acting debut in 2007. She has starred in several K-dramas such as Casting a Spell to You, Midnight Thriller, Vincenzo, 18 Again, Vampire Detective, Flower Boy Next Door, Heartstrings, I Need a Fairy, My Mom, Supermom, and more.
Jeong Nyeon will be the collaboration of director Jung Ji In (The Red Sleeve) and writer Choi Hyo Bi (A Time Called You and Babysitter).
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of Jeong Nyeon a woman born with no money nor education. It will showcase her journey in reaching her dreams of becoming a star by entering a women's traditional theater company in the 1950s setting. It will be based on a popular webtoon of the same name written by Seo Irae and illustrated by Namon.
