Kim Young Jae will be added to the cast of the upcoming drama "The Queen's Umbrella."
On September 6th, it was confirmed that Kim Young Jae will also be part of the much-awaited tvN historical drama "The Queen's Umbrella."
Kim Young Jae will be working alongside Kim Hye Soo, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, SF9's Chani, Ok Ja Yeon, Kim Ga Eun, Yoo Sun Ho, and more.
"The Queen's Umbrella" will revolve around a hot-tempered queen and her troublemaker sons. The palace will do its best to make the troublemaker princes into proper crown princes.
Kim Young Jae will give life to the character named Min Seung Yoon, the official who will be in charge of the education of the princes.
This will be his reunion drama with Kim Hye Soo. The two worked together in the 2020 series "Hyena."
"The Queen's Umbrella" will be directed by Kim Hyung Shik ("Twenty Again," "Secret Door," and "The Suspicious Housekeeper") and the script will be penned by Park Bara. The series will premiere next month.
The drama will be both available on tvN and the global OTT platform, Netflix.
The actor is currently starring in the series "Becoming Witch" together with Lee Yoo Ri, Lee Min Young, Yoon So Yi, Jung Sang Hoon, and Ryu Yeon Seok. "The Queen's Umbrella" will be his next project after "Becoming Witch."
Kim Young Jae made his acting debut in 2002. Since then, he has starred in several films and dramas.
