Koo Kyo Hwan might work with director Yeon Sang Ho for the third time!

On June 28th it was shared by various media outlets that Koo Kyo Hwan received an offer to lead the upcoming film "The Gray" (literal translation) that will be the next project of director Yeon Sang Ho. 

According to reports, "The Gray" will be the continuation of his latest work "JUNG_E" which will probably air this year. It was also reported that just like  "JUNG_E," the upcoming movie "The Gray" will also be released through Netflix. 

Director Yeon Sang Ho is known for being the man behind the Netflix original series "Hellbound." He also helmed the hit films "Train to Busan," "Psychokinesis," and "Peninsula." The director has several upcoming works such as  "JUNG_E," "The Cursed: Season 2," and "A Christmas Carol."

If Koo Kyo Hwan confirms his casting, this will be his third time working with the director. The two joined forces for the 2022 series "Monstrous" and the film "Peninsula."

Many are paying attention to the reunion of Koo Kyo Hwan and director Yeon Sang Ho and how the two will develop a new "Yeoniverse" worldview.

Koo Kyo Hwan started the year with the drama "Monstrous" with Shin Hyun Bin, Kwak Dong Yeon, Nam Da Reum, Park Ho San, and Kim Ji Young. He will also return to the second installment "D.P. Season 2." 

Aside from dramas, Koo Kyo Hwan is also booked for several upcoming films such as "Escape," "Kill Bok Soon," and "New Generation War: Reawakened Man." 

Last year, Koo Kyo Hwan is one of the most talked-about actors. He starred in several hit projects such as "D.P.," "Escape from Mogadishu," and "Kingdom: Ashin of the North."
