Lee Ji Ah will possibly return to acting through the tvN drama "First Lady."
On June 3rd media outlets reported that Lee Ji Ah has been chosen to be the main lead of the upcoming tvN series "First Lady." The series will be helmed by the director Choi Young Hoon of "One The Woman" and the script will be written by Kim Soon Ok (screenwriter of the whole Penthouse series).
Lee Ji Ah's agency BH Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that the actress is positively considering the drama.
"First Day" will narrate the story of a first lady that will be portraying two roles.
The filming and broadcast date of "First Lady" is still under discussion.
If Lee Ji Ah confirms her casting, this will be her first drama project after the successful three-part series "The Penthouse: War in Life." This will also be her first acting project for 2022.
Lee Ji Ah made her acting debut in 2007 through the drama "The Legend" with Bae Yong Joon, Moon So Ri, Yoon Tae Young, Choi Min Soo, and Park Sung Woong.
She has starred in several dramas such as "Beethoven Virus," "Athena: Goddess of War," "The Woman Who Married Three Times," "My Mister," "The Ghost Detective," and more. She was also part in the films "Swimming Bird," "Musudan," and "The Relation of Face, Mind and Love."
Lee Ji Ah will also join the upcoming show "All Viewers+: Short Buster" with other Penthouse stars such as Kim So Yeon, Uhm Ki Joon, Yoon Jong Hoon, Shin Eun Kyung, Bong Tae Kyu, and more.
The actress was last seen in the program "We Don't Bite: Villains in the Countryside" wherein she made a guest appearance together with Kim Young Dae and Han Ji Hyun
