Lee Jung Eun is in discussion to join the upcoming series "Morning Comes to the Mental Ward."

News outlet OSEN reported on May 17th that Lee Jung Eun will be added to the cast of the upcoming drama "Morning Comes to the Mental Ward." 

If Lee Jung Eun confirms her casting, this will be her reunion with Park Bo Young. The two previously worked together in the hit 2015 series "Oh My Ghost." 

"Morning Comes to the Mental Ward" will be the next work of director Lee Jae Gyoo who helmed "All of Us Are Dead," "Trap," "The Fatal Encounter," and "King2Hearts." 

The upcoming series will base its story on the webtoon with the same name by Iraha. The drama will revolve around the incidents that happen in a psychiatric ward. It will showcase the real-life experiences of the people that work there, especially the psychiatric nurses.

Other casts of the drama include Lee Sang Hee and Lim Jae Hyeok.

"Morning Comes to the Mental Ward" will reportedly begin filming in July. The series is in discussion to air on an OTT platform.

Lee Jung Eun is currently starring in the tvN series "Our Blues." She will also join the upcoming dramas "Beyond the Memory," "Woman in a White Car," and films "Take Care of My Mom" and "Hommage." 

The actress is known for being part of the dramas "Juvenile Justice," "Law School," "Once Again," "A Piece of Your Mind," "When the Camellia Blooms," "Strangers from Hell," "The Light in Your Eyes," "Familiar Wife," "Mr. Sunshine," "Bad Thief, Good Thief," "Tomorrow With You," "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," and more. 

She was also the scene-stealer of the Academy Award winning film "Parasite."
