Netflix dropped the official trailer of the upcoming Korean movie "Unlocked" on Swoon (Netflix's sister channel on YouTube). 

The movie is set to exclusively release on the OTT platform on February 17. "Unlocked" is a riveting mystery thriller about an ordinary employee who finds her life threatened after losing her smartphone. 

The film portrays a realistic and worst-case scenario of what can happen when a smartphone, containing all the personal information of the owner, is hacked. 

The Netflix trailer shows Na Mi losing her phone which is later picked up by Jun Young. He deliberately breaks the phone and with the excuse of fixing it, hacks the device. What follows is a series of strange incidents that turn Na Mi's life upside down.  

Last seen in "Rustle", Chun Woo Hee is now playing the role of Na Mi - an employee at a start-up company who becomes the victim of cybercrime. 

Yim Si Wan is an antagonist in the movie who goes by the name Jun Young. After picking up her phone, he approaches Na Mi and eventually starts controlling her life. 

Whereas Kim Hee Won acts as detective Ji Man who is also Jun Young's father. He investigates a murder mystery whose clues lead to his son. The movie casts Kim Ye Won as Na Mi's friend Eun Ju; and also includes Park Ho SanJeon Jin OhKim Joo Ryoung, and Lee Jae Woo among its talented ensemble. 

"Unlocked" is an adaptation of the Japanese movie "Stolen Identity" which in turn is based on the novel "Sumaho o Otoshita dake" written by Akira Shiga. The movie is directed by Kim Tae Joon. While commenting about the film, he said, "I thought of the smartphone as another actor and the main character in the movie, and I wanted to capture the diverse aspects of a smartphone".
