Oh Jung Se is confirmed to work with Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won in the upcoming K-drama Polaris.
It was officially confirmed that Oh Jung Se will be added to the cast of the upcoming action romance K-drama Polaris. He will reunite with Jun Ji Hyun after three years.
The production company of the K-drama Polaris confirmed Oh Jung Se's casting and also revealed that they are already shooting for the series.
This will be the next project of Oh Jung Se and Jun Ji Hyun after the 2021 series Jirisan. This will also be the grand comeback of Kang Dong Won to the K-drama world after almost two decades.
Meanwhile, Oh Jung Se is also booked with several upcoming K-dramas. The actor is expected to join the upcoming series Mr. Plankton, Good Boy, Sweet Home Season 3, When Life Gives You Tangerines, The Return of Kwon Baek, and When the Stars Gossip.
Oh Jung Se is also taking part in the upcoming movie High Five with Yoo Ah In, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Jae In, and Kim Hee Won.
Polaris will revolve around two spies who lost their identities and continuously worked to search for their true selves.
Director Kim Hee Won (Vincenzo and The Crowned Clown) and writer Jung Seo Kyung (Mother and The Handmaiden) will work together to create the upcoming K-drama. The two previously worked together for the hit series Little Women.
This K-drama will also be the reunion of Oh Jung Se with the director and writer. The actor made a special cameo appearance in Little Women in 2022.
Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won will be the main leads of the series. Meanwhile, the character to be portrayed by Oh Jung Se is still not revealed.
According to reports, Polaris will have a total of eight episodes. The broadcast channel and schedule are still undecided.
