Kim Sae Ron to resume activities after two years of self-reflection
Park Ji Bin will join Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon in the new K-drama titled "The Killer's Shopping Mall."
On January 16, Cuz-9 Entertainment shared that Park Ji Bin is confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama "The Killer's Shopping Mall." He will be working with actors Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon.
Park Ji Bin was part of the tvN series "The Killer's Shopping List" and the new upcoming K-drama will be its spin-off. In the 2022 series, Park Ji Bin played the role of Saeng Sun. An employee at MS Mart and the one who handles the seafood corner of the store.
"The Killer's Shopping Mall" will be the first project of Park Ji Bin for 2023. Last year, the actor was booked and busy with several k-dramas. Aside from "The Killer's Shopping List" he also appeared in the series "Bloody Heart," "Tutorial," and "Blind."
Park Ji Bin made his acting debut in 2003. He is best known as the little brother of Gu Hye Seon in the phenomenal K-drama "Boys Over Flowers." He started his career early as a child and he has starred in several K-dramas such as "The Iron Empress," "Queen Seon Duk," "May Queen," "The Incarnation of Money," "The Suspicious Housekeeper," "Inspector Koo," and more.
"The Killer's Shopping Mall" is an action drama that will showcase the life of a girl who lost his parents at a young age and grew up with the guidance of her uncle who runs a shopping mall. The upcoming spin-off will also base its story on a novel written by Kang Ji Young.
Last November, it was confirmed that Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon will be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama.
According to reports, the new K-drama will have a total of 8 episodes, and it's still under discussion where it will be broadcasted. Either at a tv station or an OTT platform.
