Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Park Ji Hyun will possibly work again with Kim Go Eun in a new K-drama.
On May 11, media outlets reported that Park Ji Hyun would also lead the upcoming K-drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeon alongside Kim Go Eun.
Park Ji Hyun's agency Namoo Actors shared their side through SPOTV News and stated, "Park Ji Hyun did receive the offer to star in the series Eun Jung and Sang Yeon and she is positively reviewing it.
If Park Ji Hyun confirms her role, this will be her reunion with Kim Go Eun after a year. The two worked together as rivals on the tvN K-drama Yumi's Cells.
In 2022, Park Ji Hyun became more known after starring in the hit JTBC K-drama Reborn Rich. Many praised her beauty and performance in the series as well as her great chemistry with both leads Song Joong Ki and Kim Nam Hee.
Aside from Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, Park Ji Hyun will also lead the upcoming K-drama Gold Spoon together with Ahn Bo Hyun. The actress will also star in the new films The Hidden Face and Control.
Eun Jung and Sang Yeon will revolve around the reunion of a drama writer and a filmmaker who were best friends back in elementary but ended their friendship because of a circumstance.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Jo Young Min (The Interest of Love and Do You Like Brahms?) and writer Song Hye Jin (The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and Love, Lies).
Park Ji Hyun got the offer to play the role of Cheon Sang Yeon. She is currently a famous filmmaker. She was best friends with Ryu Eun Jung, Kim Go Eun's character, who is currently a drama writer.
