Kim Jung Young confirmed to appear in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon"
Park Se Wan will reportedly join miss A's Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Doona!
On February 16, media outlet SPOTV News revealed that Park Se Wan would be added to the cast of the upcoming k-drama Doona! Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong were recently confirmed to lead the series and Park Se Wan will be the new addition that will give life to the story.
Doona! will base its story on the webtoon "The Girl Downstairs" created by Min Song Ah. The romance story will unfold when an ordinary college student and a retired K-Pop idol begin to share an apartment.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of the director Lee Jeong Hyo who also helmed the K-dramas Crash Landing on You, Romance Is a Bonus Book, Because It's the First Time, and more.
Aside from the main leads, Lee Yoo Bi, Lee Jin Wook, Go Ah Sung, and Choi Ri An will also participate in Doona!
There are no details yet on the character that will be portrayed by Park Se Wan in the upcoming K-drama.
Doona! will be released in the fourth quarter of 2023. It will exclusively be available on Netflix.
Last year, Park Se Wan drew attention after brilliantly portraying the younger version of Yeom Jung Ah's character in the film Life Is Beautiful. She also starred in the comedy movie 6/45 with Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Yi Kyung, Eum Moon Suk, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Soon Won.
Aside from Doona!, she will also make a special appearance in the upcoming K-drama Park Ha Kyung's Journey led by Lee Na Young.
Park Se Wan made her acting debut in 2016. She has starred in several K-dramas such as Goblin, School 2017, I'm Not a Robot, Never Twice, So Not Worth it, Alice, the Final Weapon, and more.
