Seo In Guk in talks to join the new drama "Minamdang: Case Note"
According to several reports on July 12th, Seo In Guk will be the main lead for the upcoming drama titled "Minamdang: Case Note." The story will be based on a popular web novel of the same name serialized on Kakao Page.
Seo In Guk's agency Story J Company shared the news through media outlet NewsN, stating that Seo In Guk did receive the proposal to star in the new drama project and he is currently reviewing it.
"Minamdang: Case Note" will narrate the story of Han Joon, a former criminal profiler who becomes a shaman alongside his colleagues. Seo In Guk would play the lead role of Han Joon if he accepts the offer.
The upcoming drama aims to begin filming this October. Other production details are yet to be revealed.
In 2021, Seo In Guk previously starred in the tvN drama "Doom at Your Service" with Park Bo Young, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kang Tae Oh, Shin Do Hyun, and SF9's Dawon. He also led the action crime drama "Pipeline" with Lee Soo Hyuk, Eum Moon Suk, Yoo Seung Mok, Tae Hang Ho, and Bae Da Bin.
The actor's next project will be a new movie and drama. Seo In Guk will be part of the upcoming movie "The Wolf Hunting." He will be working with Jang Dong Yoon, Choi Gwi Hwa, Sung Dong Il, Jung So Min, and Jang Young Nam for the action thriller movie. Seo In Guk will also star in the drama "Smoking Gun" written by Park Hye Jin.
Seo In Guk was also the main lead of the dramas "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," "Shopping King Louie," "38 Task Force," "Hello Monster," "Reply 1997," and more.
