Son Seok Koo is in discussion to lead a romance drama written by the Hong Sisters.
On April 13, industry insiders shared that Son Seok Koo will be the next main lead of Hong Sisters (Hong Mi Ran and Hong Jung Eun).
Son Seok Koo's agency SBD Entertainment responded to the reports and stated, "Son Seok Koo did receive the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama Can You Translate This Love? He is positively considering the offer."
Can You Translate This Love? will tell the story of a woman who works as an interpreter and a man who has a different love language from the woman. Because of their different language about love, they repeatedly misunderstand each other and get lost in translation.
This will be the next work of Hong Sisters after the 2022 K-drama Alchemy of Souls. The Hong Sisters are known for their hit K-dramas Hotel del Luna, A Korean Odyssey, The Master's Sun, and The Greatest Love.
Son Seok Koo got the offer to star as an A-list actor named Joo Hoo Jin. He will fall in love with his interpreter named Cha Shin Hye while they worked together on an activity in a foreign country.
There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast date and channel of the upcoming K-drama Can You Translate This Love?
This will possibly be his third upcoming K-drama. He will return to D.P. Season 2 and he will also lead the upcoming series Murder DIEary with Choi Woo Shik, Lee Hee Joon, and Jeon Hyun Sook.
Son Seok Koo is also set to lead the upcoming films Comment Army and Virus.
