Top Korean stars will dominate the February drama timeslot!

For the month of February, several genres of new dramas will be out on main broadcasting and cable channels. The dramas will have romance, youth, action, melodrama, and more that will surely capture the viewer's attention. Here are some of the cable dramas that will premiere in the first half of 2022: 

"Twenty-Five Twenty-One"

The upcoming drama will be led by Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk. It is a youth romance drama that is set in 1998. The series will revolve around two people who first met when they were 22 and 18 years old and fall for each other when they turned 25 and 21.

"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" will be directed by  Jung Ji Hyun and written by Kwon Do Eun. The drama will premiere on February 12th (Saturday and Sunday timeslot) and it will be both available on tvN and Netflix.


 "Forecasting Love and Weather"

Park Min Young will also join the February dramas with the upcoming JTBC and Netflix series "Forecasting Love and Weather." The upcoming romance drama will be released on February 12th at 9:30 PM KST. Park Min Young will be working with Song Kang, Yoon Park, Girls Day Yura, and more. 

"Forecasting Love and Weather" will tell the work and love stories of the people who work for the National Weather Service. The drama will have a total of 16 episodes. 


"Military Prosecutor Doberman"

Ahn Bo Hyun will lead the upcoming tvN drama "Military Prosecutor Doberman." The only drama that involves the military and law for the first half of the year. The upcoming series will be helmed by director Jin Chang Gyu and writer Yoon Hyun Ho

"Military Prosecutor Doberman" will showcase the journey of two military prosecutors who have different purposes, backgrounds, and personalities. One is Do Bae Man who only does his job to make more money. The other one is Cha Woo In, who joined Bae Man's team to seek revenge. The two will work together on the same case. Jo Bo Ah will bring life to the role of Cha Woo In. 

The upcoming series will air on February 28th at 9:30 PM KST. It will be part of tvN's Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot. 


"Thirty-Nine" Last on the list is none other than JTBC's "Thirty-Nine."  It will be led by three women: Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun. The female-centered plot drama will be the latest work of director Kim Sang Ho and writer Yoo Young Ah. "Thirty-Nine" will tell the work, life, love, and friendship of three best friends who are about to turn 40 years old.

The upcoming drama will air its first episode on February 16th at 9:30 PM KST and will be available both on JTBC and Netflix.

"Thirty-Nine" will be the comeback drama of Son Ye Jin after the hit 2019 series "Crash Landing on You."
