One of the most anticipated JTBC dramas "Thirty-Nine," is confirmed to air in the first half of 2022.

On December 15th, JTBC released the first-ever poster of the upcoming drama "Thirty-Nine." It featured the three main leads Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun. It was also revealed through the poster that the drama will air in February 2022. It will be part of the Wednesday-Thursday timeslot. 

In the newly released poster, the close friendship of the three 39-year-old women was shown. The three women were in each others' arms while happily posing for the photo in the warm autumn sunlight. The caption in the poster also stated, "We didn't know we were so friendly with each other." Cha Mi Jo, Jeong Chan Young, and Jang Hoo Jee actually became friends when they were 18. They were there for each other ever since and have an unchanged friendship.

"Thirty-Nine" is a drama that will narrate the stories about friendship, love, and life of three friends who are about to turn 40 years old. The series will be directed by Kim Sang Ho and written by Yoo Young Ah. Produced by  JTBC Studio and Lotte Culture Works. 

Son Ye Jin will play the role of Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do will play the role of Jeong Chan Young. Her dream was to become an actress but she ended up as an acting teacher. Kim Ji Hyun will play the role of Jang Joo Hee. She's a department store cosmetics manager.

Other casts include Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Tae Hwan, Ahn So Hee, Song Min Ji, Seo Hyun Chul, Sandy, Oh Se Young, and Seo Ji Young 

"Thirty-Nine" will be one of the dramas that JTBC will offer for 2022. Other upcoming dramas that will also air through JTBC next year are "Moving," "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate," "My Liberation Diary," "Insider," "Meteorological Agency People: The Cruelty of Office Romance," and more.

The upcoming drama will have 12 episodes, with each episode being 1 hour long.
