Upcoming K-drama "Hyper Knife" confirms its official main leads

The upcoming K-drama Hyper Knife confirmed its main leads.

On April 3, CJ ENM officially confirmed that  Hyper Knife will be led by Sol Kyung Gu, Park Eun Bin, Yoon Chan Young, and Park Byung Eun. 

It was also confirmed that Hyper Knife had already begun filming. 

Hyper Knife is a medical crime thriller K-drama that will showcase the story of two crazy geniuses. One is a genius doctor working in an illegal operating room and the other is her teacher, the world's leading neurosurgeon.

The medical thriller K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Kim Jung Hyun (Crazy Love and My Fellow Citizens!) and writer Kim Sun Hee  (Man Who Dies to Live and Night Watchman's Journal). Dongpung and Vlad Studios will produce the upcoming series.

Hyper Knife will have a total of 8 episodes. There is no official confirmation yet on the release date and broadcast channel of the upcoming K-drama.

Sol Kyung Gu will portray the role of Choi Deok Hee. He is the world's best neurosurgeon. He is also a teacher who permanently kicked a student into the operating room because she was confused with her love life. 

Park Eun Bin will portray the role of Jung Se Ok. She is an extraordinary genius doctor but because of an incident, she now lives as a shadow surrogate surgery doctor who works in an illegal operating room. 

Park Byung Eun will play the character named Han Hyun Ho. He is an anesthesiologist who is the first person who regrets what happened to Jung Se Ok. He wants the world to know about Jung Se Ok's skills. 

Lastly, Yoon Chan Young will give life to the character named Seo Young Joo. He is always there for Jung Se Ok.
