Upcoming movie "Hansan: The Emergence of Dragons" confirmed to premiere in July

The upcoming film "Hansan: The Emergence of Dragons" will be available in theaters in July.

On April 18th the first poster for "Hansan: The Emergence of Dragons" has been released. It was also confirmed that the film will be released in July. 

The film will be led by Park Hae Il, Byun Yo Han, 2 PM's Ok Taec Yeon, Kim Sung Gyu, Ahn Sung Ki, Son Hyun Joo, and more. 

"Hansan: The Emergence of Dragons" will revolve around the  Battle of Hansando and the Battle of the Korean Navy. It will reveal the happenings of how they defended Joseon against Japanese forces. In the poster, Park Hae Il as young Yi Sun Shin was shown.

Park Hae Il will play the role of Yi Sun Shin. Byun Ho Han will play as Wakisaka. Ahn Sung Ki will play the character of Eo Yeong Dam, Son Hyun Joo as Won Gyun, Kim Seong Gyu will play the role of Gato, Ok Taec Yeon will be Im Joon Young, Kim Hyang Gi will be Jeong Bo Reum, and Gong Myung will play as Yi Eokgi.

The upcoming movie will be part of the Sun Shin Trilogy Project planned by director Kim Han Min. The first part of the project was the 2014 movie "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" which garnered over 17.61 million Korean box office records. 

The director is known for being the mastermind of the movies "Roaring Currents: The Road of the Admiral," "Sunflower Blues," "War of the Arrows," "The Hunt," "War of the Arrows," and more. 

This will be one of the movies of Park Hae Il for the year. He is also set to star in the upcoming films "Decision to Leave," "Weekend Prince," and "Control."
