Yeom Jung Ah will possibly star in a new human comedy K-drama.
According to media outlet SPOTV News, Yeom Jung Ah will be joining hands with director Yoo Je Won and writer Yang Hee Seung in the upcoming K-drama First, for Love.
This will possibly be Yeom Jung Ah's third upcoming K-drama. The actress' agency hasn't responded to the casting reports.
This year, Yeom Jung Ah starred in the Disney+ K-drama No Way Out: The Roulette. She worked alongside Jo Jin Woong, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Kwang Soo, and more. She also led the films Alienoid: Return to the Future and Mission Cross.
Aside from First, for Love, Yeom Jung Ah will also lead the upcoming K-dramas The Great Ok Sook and Child Shopping with Won Jin Ah, DEX, Lee Na Eun, Ahn Ji Ho, and Park Ha Jun.
Yeom Jung Ah will also make a special cameo appearance in the upcoming film Starlight Is Falling led by Ong Seong Wu, Esom, Shim Eun Kyung, and Yang Dong Geun.
First, for Love will tell the story of a 43-year-old single mother and a 23-year-old medical student daughter who are total opposites of each other. The two go to the countryside to start anew and there, they will realize the ordinary truth of life.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Yoo Je Won (Love Next Door, Crash Course in Romance, and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) and writer Yang Hee Seung (Once Again, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and Oh My Ghost).
Yeom Jung Ah got the offer to portray the role of Ji An. She works as a construction site manager and unexpectedly became a single mother. Her life has been difficult and she wanted her daughter to live the right way.
There is no confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and airing date of First, for Love.
