Really praying for it but like... I don't think they'll even be able to pull the awkwardness that issues after the three come back as adults because there really doesn't seem to be any connection to being with ಠ︵ಠ

that's the thing that disappointed me the most. They seem friends, nothing more, and not a family. They rushed a lot over the reason why they are a family and not it feels so awkward.
They deleted the tooth thing, so probably they will change their future works maybe? and i still can't understand how the rating is ho high, this series doesn't deserve it at all.

Baker/cafe shop owner Zi Qiu to Ju Won

That's just shit. That's just absolute shit. The whole reason WHY ma guy xiao became a dentist was because of jianjian and what?? Haejun is jobless!!!??? What about jianjian's wood carving??

yeah, both Xiao's and Zi Qiu's jobs being dentist and Baker because of Jian Jian, it seems like fabricated family wants to take different route from go ahead, hence orthopedic San Ha (I think he became one because of his mother) and cake shop owner Ju Won, I'm not really sure about Hae Jun but if I remember correctly it was stated that he's jobless somewhere.

And clearly in this drama there's no feeling of the five of them as close knit family as it was supposed to represent the title, I'm not seeing this drama as go ahead remake anymore because it doesn't represent the warmness of go ahead

I WON'T FORGIVE THEM IF THEY DARE TO DO SO.

i'm not the only one feeling cold from this drama then. I can't  be emphatic nor crying because of them, while Go ahead made my cry a river

I think people are being a bit mean when it comes to this remake. I understand that most cannot move on from the original and can't help but compare but most people are also not giving this drama a fair chance. Of course, it's not going to be an exact replica of the original. It is called an adaptation for a reason so it will be adapted to suit their culture. I haven't watch the Chinese drama in full but have seen some cuts here and there and I found the female lead character to be too infantile. To me, she acts like she's 10 or younger when she's a teenager. But maybe her character is reflective of teenagers in China. Maybe the Korean version made the female character to resemble more of what a typical teenager would be like in Korea because after all Korea is the target audience. And I don't think that being raised in a family of male means that you are automatically a tomboy. I think how the characters are portrayed so far makes sense as it pertains to the story and how it was set up.

To those accusing FL in the original to be immature, they should stick to this stupid sissy princessy happy adaptation, because depth is not their cup of tea.
A girl barely knowing being a girl, without any growing up as a girl,  not being cared about female elders and not even having female friends, how can she possibly know even about basic things like bra or becoming a woman ( i mean exactly that thing)? It's the same thingof the magical make up in Moon lovers deleting a sword scar ( probably here too, she can perform magic tricks?)
Probably FL in korea are so stupid they don't need education? because FL is totally a cringe girl in this adaptation, not even worth to be compared to the original.
And more, this adaptation is freezingly cold. There is no depth, no love, no bond, no trauma, They are so happy it's disgusting. And when 2ML is sorry, it's totally Out of Character.
Defending this adaptation makes me think that people have very low standard and can accept any trash they find.
I will stick to this cringe thing until the end, because i want to know how they will continue to ruin the original. It already happened with other adaptation from Chinese and Taiwanese drama, they ruined them so there is no point, but at least the know how much they escaved to destroy the original.

Wow, your reaction is extreme. I guess this drama must be very personal for you. If it helps, maybe go back to the original and not pay attention to the remakes. The remake and its positive feedback seems to put you in a bad mood.

I like remakes when they are properly made and not blabbering to defend them with some excuses. Yes, it is set in korea, so what? does this mean they have to change completely the plot? And more, if people didn't even watch the original, why do they already judge? It's not extreme, it means using reason in a drama.  I find very immature saying people are mean with this remake when you said you never watched the original. And you can see in this thread and not only here, people judging are us having already watched and loved the original. We are not mean, we use both reason and feelings.
And for me, this remake is even colder than North Pole.

Pretty sure San Ha' and Ju Won's job are confirmed

Same, personally I think it's still enjoyable to watch, but several scenes that should've make me cry just not hit it for me (perhaps the bgm also playing a part because it ruined the moment for me)

Then why bother to do a remake if the bare minimum can't be done?

It's always K-drama viewers being mean to other countries remake and worshiping K-dramas cause it can't be done as good, when K-dramas remake other countries dramas y'all defending it

i can't even enjoy it, i'm watching it only to properly judge it but it's so lighthearted i can't
