We need to have a discussion about this drama. This is without a doubt one of the most mind buggling drama coming from China.

I am amazed by it.

I don't know where to place this drama, it's not comparable to any other I've seen.
Lots of comedy, every episode has lots of action, and subtle romance, and very unique characters like BaoBao, what a wonderful character lol.

It's something like more relatable to X-Men. And target age group is very strange, obviously for younger audiences 16-20, but sometimes not so much.

Most wuxia are historical, but this drama takes place in modern time, but is more like a fusion of historical and modern time.

I often asked myself before discovering this drama, "what if xianxia and wuxia genres meet modern era", because usually they are always in historical setting. And this drama answers that question :)
