Adding trailers to MDL

I'd need another staff to reconfirm since I'm not familiar with the rules concerning trailers unfortunately...

Isn't it better to stick with the official, since the people who made the FMV might ask for credits or don't want their work re-uploaded? Moreover, FMVs have lower quality and some are seriously a mess. For example, the FMV for Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is long, might contain spoilers, and almost just scenes between the main leads (it was boring and I couldn't watch it fully). The previous trailer had much better quality, properly edited (since it is the official trailer), and summarises things. I prefer the previous one compared to the FMV.

Also about the 7 FMV added to Remember – War of the Son, they are mostly Music Videos. Personally, I prefer a regular trailer, not loud music videos.

However, I think that if there is no trailer and the drama/film is old, then it is okay to add it until an official one can be found to replace the FMV. But they should not be music videos since it might cause copyright issues since MDL puts ads on trailers for some reason.


Edit: I PMd other trailer staff so let's see what they say.

I agree with Hessa.  If we go back to the first post of this thread it says;

We want to arouse the members/watchers curiosity. If we put in FMVs, watchers might lose interest or be misled. Though I hope in the future a section would be allocated for behind-the-scenes/promotional videos(like the ones from -The Swoon-).
