Start-up (remake of Korean drama series of the same name)

Apparently it's making its debut tonight.  It made me curious as to how many other Korean programmes got/are getting Filipino remakes.

It made me curious as to how many other Korean programmes got/are getting Filipino remakes.

I'm not sure, I haven't tracked. There are Filipino dramas I've watched years ago that I had no idea was based on a K-drama or a J-drama or Thai or C-drama or Latin American. I think there are other MDL users who have a list of Filipino adaptations.

GMA, the network behind Start-Up PH, did a lot of adaptations for more than two decades now. In the K-drama adaptation, the most popular was "Descendants of the Sun", that adaptation was a huge hit, and I myself highly praise them for it.

I knew that The Philippines had remade quite a lot of stuff from elsewhere in Asia, but now that I went looking, I found a pretty decent list of Korean drama remakes, right here on this site: https://mydramalist.com/article/17-filipino-remakes-of-popular-k-dramas-0329182361
