Plant in a Crime - In a drama, during a murder/arson investigation, a piece of thread is found on a plant outside which might belong to the arsonist. Does this count?

(I'm not sure if I asked this before -) In another drama, a knife used to commit a murder is hidden in the soil of a pot in which a plant is growing. Does this count?

 ColourMePurple:
It is not listed under Political but MDL has a limit of 4 genres. If you can find it on Asian wiki or elsewhere where it is listed as political, you can link it. It is less political though because it isn't directly involving any heads of states nor discussing the politics of the two countries.

Ok, Thank you so much!

 ColourMePurple:
The first instance does seem to count. I can't remember the scene but it fits according to your description.

The second, if they were pressed then again it counts. Sadly I don't remember this item either. If you can give me the episode and time stamp, I'll look it up for either of those instances. You only need one for it to count.

pressed between wooden blocks: ep 1,  11:48 between clothes: ep 11, 26:36

for the bracelet: https://youtu.be/VLDDtXsCxSA?si=nLvGrkzP4PbrzIZC

also, no worries if these dont fit, im just trying my luck to complete 5 prompts/1 block w one drama haha

Haha I get you. The leaves should count. The bracelet looked more like dried flowers rather than pressed.

Sounds good, thanks again!

Plant in a crime -

1) Fire is set to a building by lighting up piles of sticks which are stored around the building.

2) Hay is set on fire and the resultant smoke is used as a cover to steal/swap a coffin.

3) A conman posing as a Sorcerer/Shaman promises to switch the souls of two women and sprinkles water on the women with a twig during this fake ritual.

Do they count?

Now that you mention it. They do! Although unsure of the last one. Is the twig used routinely or mentioned as special/essential in the ritual? That would cement it.

No idea. The fake Shaman just chants a lot of mumbo jumbo, then sprinkles water on the two women with the twig. No mention of why a twig was used. But I do remember seeing something similar in other dramas as well, but in those stories the Shamans were supposed to be real ones. Still they too used a twig. Why, I don't know. I wish I remembered which dramas those were - sadly, I don't.

Since I don't know for sure if it's acceptable,  go for the other 2 scenarios for that Prompt as they have a more direct connection to crimes.

Yeah, I thought so as well. Glad to have confirmation. Thanks.

Another one which I spotted yesterday - a beggar woman is beaten with a branch (it still had leaves) by a shopkeeper for stealing food. Does it count?

I'd say no. The plant needs to be part of the crime itself and not the punishing act afterwards.

@JulyMoon - Understood. Thanks!

Perpetrator-Victim - Does "Love of Nirvana" qualify for this? ML stabs FL in ep 1 itself when he first meets her. He later poisons her and has been tormenting her again and again in the 8-10 eps that I've watched. Currently this drama does not have this tag, but so far to me it looks like it fits this tag perfectly. But I guess maybe they end up together later - I don't know. If they do, as in if the perpetrator and victim get together in a romantic relationship by drama's end, then does it mean this tag isn't applicable any longer?

Is it considered Sexual Assault or Bullying or Discrimination (or all of them) when a male boss keeps touching his female subordinates? Even though the touches themselves are innocuous - as in a pat on the hand, a hand on the shoulder etc. No groping or touching of private parts or anything forceful. And yet the boss keeps doing it.The ladies definitely don't like it or encourage it and use various excuses to evade/avoid it.  I'm talking about this drama - You Are My Lover Friend, which doesn't have any of these tags.  +   For the same drama, this older male boss has also been trying to get the younger FL in trouble since the beginning as she's a rapidly rising young star with a great academic and work record who has recently joined their office. Again, what does this come under - Bullying or Discrimination or both?

Domestic Abuse - In the drama "Good Partner", the two female lawyer leads get involved in a divorce case that's about domestic abuse. The abuse soon turns deadly and the abuser also nearly kills one of the FLs. Can this drama be used for this prompt in this challenge, even though it doesn't have this tag?

Long Distance Relationship - Does this kind of relationship have to be only romantic? Can it be friendship as well, since the tag's description says nothing about romance? Again, talking about the drama "You Are My Lover Friend" where the leads' 13 year long friendship has survived the FL's three year overseas work stint.

When it happens without consent it's (sexual) assault. Since the female characters seem to not want it, based on your description I'd say it counts. Just explain it like this in the challenge form.

As for this, I'd say it's bullying, as his defaming actions seem to be directed at one person in particular and not females in general. If he aims to harm females or workers in general it's discrimination.

If this domestic abuse plays a significant role in the drama you can add the tag by editing the dramas page. Add the info that you are watching the drama and have seen that a domestic abuse is taking place/playing a significant role in the drama. It should count then.

 bitcoolKat:

I think it doesn't need to be romantic, but the drama needs to be tagged with Long Distance Relationship.

As for Love of Nirvana I'm not sure, so I can't answer. Hope that helps.

 JulyMoon:
Hope that helps

I'll make a note of it all. Thanks @JulyMoon!

Re. Love of Nirvana - maybe someone else who's watched it can help.

Re. adding tags to the dramas myself - uh...no. Tried that, got told off by MDL staff and will not do it again. Not worth the hassle and the hurt.
