My Sunshine adapted from Gu Man's novel Silent Separation. It tells the complicated love story between a kind girl and a smart boy since they're in high school.
Why is it a guilty pleasure: because ml manipulating and forcing fl to become his wife and torturing/gaslighting her-mostly by words-regularly for leaving him and marrying another man (so that she could adopt her friend's child when her friend serves in prison for killing the violent husband but ml doesn't know until he meet that man) during her leave while actually he's the reason fl think they're over (ml getting angry at fl when he first know fl's father is the reason his father's died but he never tell fl about it until the end) so fl follows her parents instruction to leave to USA. And because ml doesn't sleep with her, fl think he just takes a revenge.
2. Love Mechanics (watch it twice)
It tells the story between a junior who love another senior and a senior who has a girlfriend.
Why is it a guilty pleasure: It's a BL. Their love story starts when mc getting drunk and ml send him home (they're neighbours in dorm). Mc think ml is his crush so he tries to sleep with ml and they do the deed. Ml is the biggest (not the kind that does criminal acts) red flag out there. He's straight and have gf but sleeping with a male junior. He still likes his gf but he enjoy mc's companionship. He starts dating mc but then he still accompany his cheating gf.
