Like that idea too, but we will need a place with a schedule overview or it will get lost in space.

Good thinking! - Guess I need to think on this a bit more and figure stuff out. :)

Thanks for sharing ? And did you liked these historicals.? Just let's us know :)  It's very common on here to share opinions about the historicals / costume dramas you've seen, good or bad.

Hello. I found @Estelll’s recommendation on a taiga I’m currently watching, “Seirei no Moribito” and her page lead me right here :)

I would like to join the historical dramas club, please, and if possible some recommendations for taigas. I have Ryomaden on my radar but I would like to watch the really good taigas. 50 episodes really isn’t my preferred format ? and I put in that kind of effort only for asadoras and the really good historicals.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be like Seirei No Moribito but I like intricate plots.

Welcome to our humble little club :)

I watched a taiga early this year, Yae no Sakura. It's quite good, I personally enjoyed it. You could give that a try and see if it fits what you're looking for :D

That’s in the most popular ones too and has the same actress, might just give it a go then. Thanks a lot :)

You know, if this is still open for idea-development and kick-off, we could either create a profile called historical drama club, with a profile page explaining about the feed the banners etc. and about the fixed dates and schedules or we could name prefects (for missing a better word), meaning people who "take care" of the night/day shifts...

That's such a great idea.... I was thinking what would be the best place to put everything.  Jdramas club have a really cool discord server with everything all organised etc... I want this club to have that but I'm not tech savy enough for Discord. So yea maybe a profile on MDL and discussions can  take place a bit easier on the friends feed maybe???

Here's a google form for more suggestions if anyone has any  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdIBgkRNb6vZCvc_VI4ie8CRkPGyO7YYoVy8AE6OIKiGjKZjw/viewform?usp=sf_link

It's anonymous so no names will be shown.

Also please list any event ideas you may have also using the form below.

I didn't see this thread until now. I have a list of historical romance dramas with happy endings if anyone is interested. I'm always adding to it so I also welcome suggestions if anyone has any!
