Well the last few hours have been politically exhausting to watch. Anyway, I have some updates:

I am inclined to be excited with you because I just watched the teaser and I like what I see.

Agreed. Let's hope this trend is a short-lived one.

Since it's based on the Mynt novel "Gown and Gear" (as well as "Extern"), I can't help but be curious how it compares to GMMTV's "My Gear and Your Gown", which I mostly liked despite some weaknesses. As I understand, they're based on different novels, but the names are so similar.

+++

Speaking of liking despite some weaknesses, I've just watched today's episodes 9 and 10 of "Eccentric Romance". Objectively speaking, it's deeply flawed (and not only because of the Thai-Korean language issue), but I'm unable to be objective because of the major boy crush I've developed on Save Saisawat, so I'm ashamed to admit that I'm lovin' him ... erm ... I mean, the series. (Once again, my famously low standards where cuties are involved.)

+++

ETA: I really liked episode 5 of "Every You, Every Me". I swear that this has nothing to do with the fact that much of it consisted of my dearly beloved Top Piyawat walking around with no clothes on.

It's quiet here!! How is everyone today??

I don't mean to complain about the weather (I'm going to anyways) but it's snowing heavily today and expect only snow for the next 2-3 days as well. And too cold to be out for long.  I just hope it won't build up too much and make the roads impassible. :-(

When I relocated here in February, the moving truck got stuck in the snow overnight!

It feels like Christmas.

On the bright side, I have a snack delivery coming today and will start a new (straight) C-drama tonight!!

Don't blame me: I was already noisy this morning.

I need some advice: How do I make it clear to Keng that Namping is mine?

I just finished Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo and loved it. There are just some people who come into our lives who nurture us and help us heal. That's who Sin Ju Yeong was to Lee Do Hoe.

Good choice. He's a real cutie!

Challenge him to a duel.

Same! but I'm having trouble figuring out the characters because the MDL page isn't updated-- I'm trying to put characters to actors

Guys random question but what is everyone fav bl couple

That's me finished with "Please Teach Me" (South Korea, 2024). This would have been better suited to being a short film with some sharp editing. it's pretty standard fare for a short-form, reels-type production. Nothing special.

Honestly, "Dominant Yakuza and Wimpy Corporate Slave" (Japan, 2024) is the best short-form I've seen thus far. It moves quickly, the story is compact - not a single second is wasted - and it looks pretty, too. No, I'm not just talking about the actors, but the whole design.

I loved it, too. Curious to see what iQIYI has in store with episodes 9 & 10. I wonder if that's an error on their part?
