Several of us here watched it and talked about it while airing,

But I'll speak for myself only. I thought it started out really good but as time went by I was less and less impressed, to put it nicely, lol.

If I remember right, it was a group watch, so I saw it through to the end. If it was just me, I might have dropped it before finishing.

Most recently I've watched Oh! My Assistant, All the Liquors and liked them very much.

I wrote two days ago that I watched "Oh! My Assistant" and really liked it. Definitely underrated.

Now I've also watched "All the Liquors" - and yes, I also really liked it, much more than I expected given the awful title. (I detest Korea's toxic drinking culture!) The story is flimsy, but it's cute, fluffy and a fun watch - not to mention the cuties! (Not that I would ever allow cuties to affect my critical judgement. *cough cough*)

What both have in common is that (as with so many KBLs) one can knock them off in about two hours, which is a nice change from the typical 12-hour Thai BL marathons. Brevity is a virtue!

Speaking of cute 'n fluffy, I also finished today's final two episodes of "Eccentric Romance". Things I liked about this series: (1) Save Saisawat. (2) The "whodunnit" sense of mystery. (3) Save Saisawat. Have I mentioned that I have a crush on Save Saisawat? Otherwise, calling this series "mediocre" is generous, not only because of the poor handling of the Thai-Korean language issue. The fact that I liked this series just proves once again that I have low standards where cuties are involved. *pitter-patter-goes-my-heart*

Fair enough, to each their own. For me it was something lighter than the emotionally heavy stuff I usually gravitate towards and I honestly think that's what I needed, I don't think pre slump me would have been as into it as I was right now.

I totally relate! I'm a wimp when it comes to heavy stuff. I have to use lightweight series even inbtw watching more intense dramas. :-)
