I've been re-watching "Only Boo" since it recently came to Viki (so much more convenient!) - and gosh, I do love it. When GMMTV announces the 2025 line-up, I'd be amazed if they don't have another SeaKeen series of some kind. I can't wait to hear what else they have in store for us.

I've decided that I'm physically unable to wait any longer with "Blue Canvas" (after being pulled in the summer by Chinese-owned iQiyi, now airing on Viki and Gaga). I am watching it on the assumption (fingers crossed) that Viki and Gaga are able to ensure it won't get pulled again. Gosh, it's powerfully good.

I am currently watching Pitbabe and there Babe asked the guy with the glass that was a fan of babe if he was an Alpha .. what does it mean ? does it mean what I am thinking ? 

It's about the so-called "omegaverse". If you really want to read more, here's the Wikipedia entry - but in simple terms, an "alpha" is top/dominant, i.e. it is implied that Babe is a "power bottom". (I hope that wasn't too explicit for the more innocent ears in this group.)

Although most in this group (myself included) seemed to enjoy "Pit Babe", I don't think any of us were terribly enthusiastic about the annoying and unnecessary "omegaverse" references. 

Best thing about "Pit Babe": My dearly beloved Supanut. <3

Netflix only uploaded up to episode 6 of "Doku Koi: Doku mo Sugireba Koi to Naru" (Japan, 2024) today. I've been waiting weeks for episode 7, and episode 8 today dropped on J-Netflix.

Given how very few Asian BLs are on Netflix in Europe, I'm glad for any good new BLs, even if they're slow to post. (P.S. I have a crush on Haruto.)

Speaking of Netflix, I recently watched "Marry My Dead Body" - and even though I'd call it a gay-themed police action-comedy-ghost story more than a BL in the usual sense, and even though I wasn't really expecting to like it, and even though I don't have a crush on either protagonist, I loved it!

Yeah, the reviews for "GG Precinct" are much weaker (not to mention conveniently white-washed of the gay theme), so I also think I'll give that a miss.

What I definitely unconditionally absolutely will watch, however, is "The Red Envelope" (below right), which is basically the same story except with Billkin and PP Krit, who I adore. In fact, this was my prompt to watch "Marry My Dead Body" (below left), i.e. so I'd be ready when "Red Envelope" comes out ("early 2025").(Caption just says that Billkin and PP Krit will play the couple in the Thai version.)

I personally wish they hadn't been so chicken about it-- they should have gone all in or completely removed it lmao 

Like there was so little in there that it was actually confusing.
