Perfect 10 Liners Ep 11
This show is seratonin in a one hour dose. Once again— love YothaGun. The whole bar plot looks messyyy, just look at Warich and Klaoh 😂 Also, I need those pajamas.
Your Sky Ep 8
Idk what it was but something regarding the editing made this ep feel a little messy for me. Like Teerak being unable to tell his parents about Fah is resonable, specially since they are super close and he doesn’t want to ‘dissapoint’ them BUT for this ep it felt like the worry came too soon??? Like why are we not getting MORE boyfriend seratonin first?
REAL AND HIA KISSED SCREAMS
also LEE AND GLAIJAI!!! Lee has game! As a self porclaimed fan of PorTeeTee yessss
Anyway, I liked it. I’m going to bet the preview is Teerak’s imagination.
axdxex:Anyway, I liked it.
Me, too - although I admit that I'm biased by my love for Thomas & Kong.
axdxex:a self porclaimed fan of PorTeeTee
Me, too - although there's some debate about whether it's PorTeeTee or TeeTeePor, haha!
TeeTee (now 19) has matured so well since last year's "DMD Friendship: The Reality". It'll be interesting to see if Patji (17) and Ryujin (18) undergo the same metamorphosis by the next go-around. Domundi seems to be pretty darn good at talent development, so I'm optimistic.

Hmm, interesting theory. I'll have to think about that ...
P.S. On reflection, I think it's plausible (although seemingly out of character) that Fah's parents, despite being ostensibly so kind and polite as well as tolerant regarding sexual orientation, are snobs regarding socio-economic class. But I still think you're probably right: Teerak certainly has a very active imagination.

I think for the hashtag it’s PorTeeTee but I think I saw Por and P’Aof say (different posts) that it could be either depending on the show!
Right! I’m so excited to see more of Patji and Ryujin in a few months! I hope we get more reality shows from dmd this year, although idk if we need another new generation so soon! Maybe like a Safe House 🤔 I’m pretty sure they did something similar a few years back.
Theo:I love James,I know there was controversy with his way of singing, but I think he has the voice for rap.Maybe if he practices ,he can be good at it. Of course Gmmtv way is good with the Starlympics,I love the chemistry between everyone. I do remember only seeing 2 Studio Wabi Sabi(UWMA and Between us),they were really good shows. I can't really say much about MeMindY,but I do think LITA was a good series.
Yeah I feel that people are a bit harsh on James
Oh and I forgot to mention Mandee- they’re ok (like I LOVED Cutie Pie and then Middleman’s Love came lmao)

On reflection, I think it would be a positive development if Domundi is moving beyond the seme/uke stereotype (older/taller vs. younger/shorter, handsome and more masculine vs. cute, sweet, smiley and more boyish or even androgynous) that we see to varying extents in all of Domundi's successful CPs to date . The seme/uke model can be great with the right actors and story, and I dearly love Tutor/Yim, Zee/Nunew, Max/Nat, Kong/Namping, Thomas/Kong and most recently Auau/Save, but I would also welcome a new CP model, if that's where they're going with Por/Teetee/Teetee/Por.
Same goes for Me Mind Y's two iconic CPs (Boss/Noeul and Fort/Peet), both of whom I adore.
On thinking about the large and growing number of GMMTV CPs, I see much less of this stereotype and more range in styles, so I guess GMMTV should get some credit for that, too.

And this brings me to Theo's question yesterday about production houses.
I love GMMTV, which is clearly the giant in the BL room. It has many critics, but I like GMMTV-style cute 'n fluffy love stories and the ensemble-cast productions filled with my favourite actors, plus also sometimes they do actually deliver drama with surprising depth (e.g. "ThamePo" right now). So yes, GMMTV is my personal fave, too. I just hope that GMMTV isn't overextending itself with all the new artists. Thank goodness for "P10L", also known as the "GMMTV six-month full-employment project".
Wabi Sabi has a great legacy, but with the decision to exit artist management, I think they have a lot riding on "Fourever You". I very much hope that it survives, especially as "UWMA" is my all-time fave BL.
If Boss/Noeul and Fort/Peet were ever to leave Me Mind Y, would there be anything left?
Mandee has a mixed record, not only of overpromising on trailers and underdelivering on productions but also on long production delays. Their big strength is partner Domundi, which has really gotten great at developing, managing and marketing its artists and CPs (see above).
Beyond GMMTV and Mandee/Domundi, the Thai BL production industry gets quickly fragmented, but Change2561 is quite interesting right now. I hope they soon deliver on their three widely anticipated pipeline projects (“PitBabe S2”, “Goddess Bless You From Death” and most of all “I’m The Most Beautiful Count” with my dearly beloved Supanut).
It's harder to talk about the BL production houses in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. In Japan, I think the programming is probably driven more by the networks like TBS rather than the production houses they contract out to (?). In South Korea, the only BL producer that jumps to mind is Strongberry. In Taiwan, VBL seems to have emerged as the leader in 2023/2024.
But of course, all are dwarfed compared to GMMTV ...
How was Sangmin Dinneaw this week? I haven't watched it because my priorities Sunday were P10Liners, Your Sky, Boy Next World, and Love Sick 2024.
Speaking about Love Sick 2024. I love this show, but this is literally me trying to remember who likes who, who seems to have a crush on who, who's dating who, and which one's are exes lmao
Also! Our Youth is ending today, so I'll try to make time to watch it asap. I've heard it's really good. For those who finish it today, please tell me if it has a happy ending or at least a satisfying one!
axdxex:How was Sangmin Dinneaw this week?
It didn't rock my boat quite as much as the first episode, but there were some great scenes, and I like the series as a whole, not least as the first decent Thai-Korean BL that's a real BL. I'll be interested to see where the new story threads take us.
axdxex:Love Sick 2024. I love this show, but this is literally me trying to remember who likes who, who seems to have a crush on who, who's dating who, and which one's are exes
This is almost like a metaphor for the complicated, tangled mess of real-life teen emotions and high school crushes.
axdxex:Our Youth is ending today, so I'll try to make time to watch it asap. I've heard it's really good. For those who finish it today, please tell me if it has a happy ending or at least a satisfying one!
I think the final episode only comes out tomorrow, not today - although you're nine (?) hours behind me, so maybe it will be your today. And as I understand it, the ending (at least according to what people say about the source manhwa) is both happy and sad, depending on how you look at it. That being said, this adaptation supposedly deviates quite a bit from the manhwa. In any case, yes, it's really good. Highly recommended.
P.S. It's now Tuesday. I've watched the final episodes (two - ep. 10, then ep. 11 is some years later, i.e. sort of an epilogue, but essential to the story). As with the series itself, the ending is arguably happy but bittersweet, with a lot of depth that requires thought. It's a compelling but reality-based story, not a BL fairy tale. Again, highly recommended. Among serious (non-fluffy) JBLs, this is one of the best.
p43425:For anyone frustrated by the out-of-sync subtitles in yesterday's episode 2 of "Sangmin Dinneaw” on iQiyi: The problem is now fixed.
@Theo: Yesterday I incorrectly said that it's only available on iQiyi. I see that the episodes are also posted to the "Glory Day Ent Official" channel on Youtube.
Thank youu
