RXinw:
Their NC scene left me wanting more from them as well as left me in anticipation for the main couple's NC scene

(re "Sangmin Dinneaw") I thought you might say that! And no worries, this series doesn't seem to shy about NC scenes, so I'm sure you'll get your wish.

 RXinw:
The scene with the aloe vera was hilarious to me. When Dinneaw had the slime between his fingers my mind went south

I thought you might say that, too. Shame on you! Tsk tsk.

 RXinw:
However, recently the same cannot be said regarding Love Sea and Wedding Plan

Speaking for myself, I loved "Wedding Plan". It's cute, fluffy and light, which I know isn't your thing, but I wouldn't lump it into the same category with "Love Sea".

I saw this relationship chart in Redditt.

(re "Love Sick 2024") This is such a huge help. I wish I'd had it while watching.

I never wrote a lot talking about a BL series ever before

(re "ThamePo") I like it when others share their enthusiasm. I've totally lovin' this series, too.

going two weeks without a new episode of the heart killers. i'm surprised i made it in one piece.

just one more day to go!

On reflection, I think it would be a positive development if Domundi is moving beyond the seme/uke stereotype (older/taller vs. younger/shorter, handsome and more masculine vs. cute, sweet, smiley and more boyish or even androgynous) that we see to varying extents in all of Domundi's successful CPs to date . The seme/uke model can be great with the right actors and story, and I dearly love Tutor/Yim, Zee/Nunew, Max/Nat, Kong/Namping, Thomas/Kong and most recently Auau/Save, but I would also welcome a new CP model, if that's where they're going with Por/Teetee/Teetee/Por.

Same goes for Me Mind Y's two iconic CPs (Boss/Noeul and Fort/Peet), both of whom I adore.

On thinking about the large and growing number of GMMTV CPs, I see much less of this stereotype and more range in styles, so I guess GMMTV should get some credit for that, too.

Yes! DMD really does have some of the best pairings in BL. I'd love to see Por & TeeTee switch it up with their roles, I think they can pull it off.

As for GMMTV, they really do have a CP for everyone's tastes. It's like there HAS to be at leas ONE you like lol

 p43425:
That being said, this adaptation supposedly deviates quite a bit from the manhwa. In any case, yes, it's really good. Highly recommended.

P.S. It's now Tuesday. I've watched the final episodes (two - ep. 10, then ep. 11 is some years later, i.e. sort of an epilogue, but essential to the story). As with the series itself, the ending is arguably happy but bittersweet, with a lot of depth that requires thought. It's a compelling but reality-based story, not a BL fairy tale. Again, highly recommended. Among serious (non-fluffy) JBLs, this is one of the best.

I'll start this one as soon as I finish Love Sick 2024! (currently watched 10/15) Japan does those bittersweet stories really well, so I'm excited to watch.

Related to Ep 11 but a spoiler if you haven't watched: Not there yet but I hope it's soon.

I'm on pins and needles...

I'll believe it when I see it. Although roughly 70% of the Japanese public supports same-sex marriage in two recent high-quality opinion polls, which is the highest approval rate in Asia, even above Thailand (see graphic below), the national government is soooo conservative, and I don't see that changing under Ishiba. Per a recent article in Asahi Shimbun: "Although Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has said that recognizing same-sex marriage would have a positive impact on society, he remains hesitant to commit to legislative action." This sounds like Japanese indirectness for a big fat "no". (I hope I'm wrong.)

I'd love to join!

Ossan’s Love TH ep 1

My GOD I LOVE this series so far

I watched the trailer and I’ve been avoiding too many new airing dramas lately but I just knew I had to watch this one and boy was I right lol

Earth as this cute funny character has me falling for him faster than the apple fell from the tree and hit Newton’s head

This might be my most anticipated airing drama atm 👏👏

I have not slept since yesterday. I am basically running on mere existence lol. I want to go back to the holidays 😭

Soooooo, what you are saying is that, you were thinking about me 🙃

Nope, I did not find it cute, fluffy and light. Sometime ago I went on a long rant about this series. To save time and me going into another rant lol, let me just say I was very upset regarding how the whole story developed and ended 😁
