I tried to watch Playboys yesterday, didn't even last one minute in. so i wanted to ask if american fan watched it? because i think we're similar in the fact that we hate "those" (also hope you get well soon :) )

I like big ensemble casts (not only BLs) if the story and execution is really good, but yes, it's a challenge for the brain cells.

In the case of GMMTV (e.g. "P10L", "We Are" ...), it helps me quite a lot that I know the actors, so I can at least recognise them individually and mentally sort them out in my mind by actor name rather than character name. Otherwise, I would have to watch the first episode (or first part of movie) a few times until I know the characters. I remember the first time I watched the excellent movie "Gosford Park" (non-BL) how totally lost I was by the many characters in the top-notch ensemble cast, but after a few re-watches I finally got to know them all. Of course, that's a two-hour movie - re-watching 24 one-hour episodes of "P10L" would be a pretty major additional time commitment!

The easy-to-remember Anglicised Thai nicknames are also a big help here - if these were Korean or Chinese actor names, my "system" wouldn't be much of a help!

I learn to like big casts, too. Haha. 😅 I think I've never watched "Gosford Park" before. But I like "whodunits". You're right about re-watching all episodes of "P10L" would be a long lasting task, LOL. Therefore I really appreciate it, that they focus several episodes on one couple and their getting-to-know story and then continue with another couple. Then I've time getting used to the characters. I haven't watched many BL dramas yet, as I could say I recognize "him" or "him". 🤣

This year I want to catch up with BL dramas.

I haven't watched for example Bad Buddy, HIStory 3: Trapped, Love Mechanics, Never Let me Go, Only Friends etc. yet. To name a few. 🙈😗

I thought about starting with ThamePo this weekend..... 🥰 I've read only good things about it here. I gues, it's time for me and I'm in the mood for something like that.

Okayyy so I just finished Strangers from Hell (so so good omg) and I was wondering if anyone here had reccs for BL’s with a similar energy/dynamic..? I’m coping hard with the fact that the mc's didn’t make out at the end T-T Anyway now I’m obsessed with them so if anyone has any suggestions on what to watch next I’d love to hear them!!!

I haven't watched it. And as I can see the tag "horror" there, I'll probably never will. 😅 Scaredy cat over here. 🙀 But maybe Midnight Museum is something for you? I haven't watched it either, but I guess it could have the same vibe? I've watched a video on YT about it à la  "Their story" and the main leads seem to have great chemistry. Another one which might fit is the Cdrama The Spirealm. It has the "horror" tag, too and strong Bromance vibe. I haven't watched this either. But again watched a YT compilation video about the male main leads and yes... 😄

While writing this, I recognize that those dramas seem to have a certain fascination for me. But I can't help it, I can't watch horror or something like that. 🙈

Someone pls explain to me what En of love series(like which one comes first)

First one is Torssa(or however you spell it lol) second is love mechanics and the 3rd is this is love story lol

But also-- En of Love : Love Mechanics was later remade into a full series called Love Mechanics. 

On that note, does anyone else have a soft spot for Love Story or is it just me??? Like that was were my love for Benz was born lol
