There is this dark mafia romance MM series called the Vitale Brothers and book 3 "Say I Do", has the most problematic couple. Harlow and Benito are a serious case of toxic and trauma filled lol

I have some beef with this show because it started so good and dissapointed me by the end— BUT this is by no fault of the cast. Babe did a great job as Tharn.

Day 23 Best Short Drama/Film:  Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto (6 eps @ 25 min. each) is my choice.  Although I believe in second chances, some BLs seem to take this to an extreme (10+ years) and the  ability to suspend my disbelief is hampered. In this case, though, each of the leads pursued other relationships. By the time the were reunited, I had high hopes they had learned something more of themselves as individuals and as romantic partners.

Day 24 Best Newcomer in a Lead Role:  I will sound like a broken record but here goes. The leads in LoveSick 2024: Progress Passawish Thamasungkeeti and Almond Poomsuwan Suwansatit.

I'm anxiously awaiting today's new episode of "See Your Love". (There's also ep. 6 of "Heart Killers" today, but somehow this series hasn't really engaged me yet, despite my love of Dunk.)

Following "Moonlight Chicken" last year, 2024 has been a banner year for deaf characters and deafness in top-notch BLs: not only "See Your Love" but also "Hidamari ga Kikoeru" and "Blue Canvas of Youthful Days".

There was also "La Pluie" last year, which I haven't yet watched, but I'm not sure this kind of conditional deafness to fit a story is the same serious treatment of the subject.

Are there others I'm forgetting?
