My youngest Son in Marines now experienced Japan and Korea culture and peoples!

He is deployed overseas for about 12 months, spent several months in Japan, and now stationed in Korea, with final stay in Philippines before coming back home. Asked how he liked it, and he stated that the people bow a lot, very polite, but hard to understand, but food and cuisine very nice!
