I think many of you have heard of this Korean webtoon writer, Horang, who wrote short horror stories. I had a hard time trying to finish The Ghost of Bongcheon-dong (still couldn’t read it til the end (；ﾟДﾟ)

How's everyone? Yesterday I watched Exte that I found recently. Not the jumpscare kind of scary but still disturbing and ridiculous. It's a unique concept - cursed hair that kills people and make people kill. Coming from the director, it wasn't very bloody, although there was violence/abusive mother again which was too bad for the young daughter as she appeared traumatic. And maybe it's old or the black hair concept, but the atmosphere here was greyish or somewhat overcast. I rated it 7/10.

Currently started The Guest (2018). Been wanting to watch this for so long and I finally had to see Kim Dong Wook and Kim Jae Wook's chemistry. Episode 1 was really good, I don't find it too scary so far in terms of the supernatural aspects but it can get quite bloody. This is pretty much the first supernatural korean drama I have watched and it has such an interesting story with great cinematography as expected from OCN.

Hi, I was a huge horror fan as a kid and have moved away from the classic horror stories to more of supernatural thrillers over the years but I do end up watching more of western horror than Asian. I saw House, Kwaidan, A tale of two sisters and more way back. Recently watched The Guest (it's a supernatural thriller but a very interesting show!) and read the webtoon for Sweet Home. I am currently rewatching Botan Doro for an article and will be watching The Medium soon. 

And thank you @awkward potato for sharing the link for Horang's horror stories. Just started it and it's quite the thrill!

Also, I would love to join the club so I can get some great suggestions to watch ever so often when the mood strikes! :)
