My current thought is that the dead SW was truly Ziyu's father. I think his mother, Lady Lan, is from the back hill. I think she was forced to marry SW and move to the front hill and have his heir. So Ziyu is half mortal, half whatever they are in the back hill. That's why his meridians are different - he's like a mix of them. His mother is somehow related to the Xue Lineage. She is either of that lineage, fell in love with someone from that lineage, or both. The flashbacks show her enjoying the falling snow which makes me think of the Xue lineage. The kid who seems like he may have been an adult before could be the lover she had before being forced to marry the SW. 


They made Ziyu's birth premature to give an excuse to everyone as to why his body can't handle the cold. But really, I think it has to do with him being half back/half front hill.

This is quite good explanation of events... as a lot of us was thinking he is half front/half back hill offspring - however I think Lady Lan came from out world as she said to the Wuji that she is silly as now she won't be able to leave....

Ok that whole fight to get the medical ledger had to be a plan. Our girl ain’t that weak. But SGQ is getting too confident to the point of cocky. So I’m guessing WuJi told YWS that it was a fake. No little shit Junior poison in today’s episode, was kinda quiet lol. My heart goes out to JF; our guy as a kid mastered that high a level only to have it given up to babysit ZY. Meanwhile, how’s that boatload of extra guilt for ZY who’s taken him for granted this entire time? I’m actually glad there weren’t that many conundrums this time around and other then that medical ledger being a fake and used to undermine SJ’s plan and hopefully send SGQ elsewhere, I’m theory free today lol.

Same here, but he has such an upright character and he is doing whatever he believes will benefit ZY.
I am sure he is suspecting YWS but as long as she can convince him that she has genuine feelings for ZY and she doesn't want to harm him - JF will keep her safe and sound.

I do believe that too, SGQ will fall into a trap due to her overconfidence... because she is MEI, and CHIs are merely pawns...

I think she's begun to really have feelings for him. Which will hopefully get her to help him defeat assassins creed and all of whomever anonymous is.

You know, the actress is doing a good job but I'm finding her character to starting to be stale. We know she's evil and cunning.......but then what? Tears all the time, pretending to be humble....? ??‍♀️

Thats her style but she is really getting bold and she is playing cat and mouse game with a tiger - they are both go8ng to die in my opinion

If the good is going to prevail then I expect all evildoers to get eliminated  - I hope main couple to survive and walk through whole story together 

GZY just started growing up process and YWS healing one - as she needs his love to break from wufeng shackles.

Btw. I did pay attention to the game board when SGQ was playing against GSJ and from the very first move she could isolate this 4 blacks buttons in the corner ... so she had to be blind not seeing that possibility and make few stupid moves and before placing button in the right point and what? Showing how smart she is when she grabbed 4 blacks?

I think the secret of the Infinite Fire is in tattooed on the back of the Sword Wielder, which is why the tattoo is such a closely guarded secret, needs to be passed on between generations of SWs, and disappears soon after death.

In the MV when YWS and GZY were holding both of their hand with each other (2:29), there was a golden aura glowing. Could this be related to  the infinite fire thing?

My theory about the medical records is that the records that were stolen by Lil bro and Ji Fan were not the real records. As Wufeng spy, Lady Ming Wuji could have already predicted that the record would be stolen and maybe she told A'yun about it. For which, A'yun set this whole plan to track GSJ and his bride.  It also implies she acted weak and was defeated as she's still pretending to be a Chi. The real record is with her and now she's protected by the guards Ji Fan put around her. This would kill 3 or 4 birds at the same time.


Other theory regarding this would be that she copied the medical records after getting the book from Ji Fan and the copy that is right now with GSJ is actually a false, slightly modified record. 


Theory about Ji Fan being a Red Guardian was true! 

But I was wrong about who put Ji Fan there it seems since they showed his father the SW did that. However  we can see that all 3 Elders were present when the decision was made and so this still explains why they are making so many concessions for Ziyu.
