About Female Lead. I am very pleased by the Zhao Lu Si's depiction of Duan Wu. It is my first drama watching her. I feel that, she is one of the best actress out there. She is very nuanced. This is beautiful to watch. 

Duan Wu is clever and she can read the room. That allows us to witness  her growth as a woman, and honestly I am rooting for her success as a merchant. I have no doubt she will fight her way to success. She has a  sassy personality and how I love her interactions with Male Lead.

Moreover, her identity must be uncovered. She has to take back what belongs to her legally. 

That type of "quest" is something every professional woman can relate to : success in the workplace. That thematic is universal. So, no wonder so much viewers want to follow her journey. 

As for Male Lead Liu Yu Ning (Yan Zi Jing) I loved him in "A journey to love". I honestly like his cleverness and his patience in executing his revenge plan. To be honest, his schemes are not very elaborate but it is still nice to see him win everytime. 

I guess that a hero has to face a very difficult villain to beat, in order to become an astonishing hero : the villain elevates the hero!!

In this case, unfortunatly the antagonist is that one-dimensional Master Cui ShiJiu. So Yan Zi Jing  could not be extraordinary. 

But I still appreciate his journey.

Apart from them, I really like the child actor "shrimp" who was in "the double" as well.  He is very refreshing and talented. And also really cute. I am happy to see him again.

For all the rest of the castmembers, their acting is on point  and I am binging the drama.

Yes, EG's YYM is so good. Very beautiful costumes and actors as well. This is his talent. Too bad about the rest of the stuff about him. 

Edward had another show /movie ‘Wuliang’. Any idea if it’s good?  Haha I think I’ll give him a big miss… he’s too unreal for me..

I am a rojak person! I go for good story, cast and witty dialogues.. Having my fav leads in a meh show cmi for me. I wonder if the coming show ‘the trunk’ is good or not. Long time no watch the ml haha.. he always act with little girls

I too waiting for The Trunk. I recently watch QueenWoo. Not too bad but too much gore and killing. Do watch censored version if you cannot stand nudity. Heard some people complain that was why they released the censored version. I am watching Mr Plankton. Sad story plus some humor. Judge from hell is good. What comes after love is slow but ok, flowing ok just that pity the second actor. My Dearest everyone said is good but I haven’t watch yet. Twinkling Watermelon is nice. Lovely Runner started very nice but got bored in between for me however I did complete it. Love next door is so good. Doctor Slump is ok.  A shop for killers is not bad, have to listen for clues.  Black Put is good but they could have did the ending better. Suddenly you feel just like that?  Connection is not bad but to me got bored a little in a way. Flex X Cop was a fun one. High school return of a gangster was also a fun one but in between a little sad. Marry my husband not bad. All based in 2024. I may had miss some…. Anyone here watch Japanese drama?

I still enjoy Korean thrillers. This year I watched Exhuma, the frog… All good !  Queen woo has Wookie in show? Ooh.. I also watched jdramas. Recently I waited for ‘light my lion’ . Nice heartwarming show. But very slow to airdrop online grrr. Yesterday I binged Kinura’s old show The family.. Good dark show but ugghhhhhg

Try Silent and Umo no Hajimari. Same actor. Pace is the same slow. Two weeks Japanese version not too bad. Perfect World too. Yes all sad dramas hahaha but I just love them. These few I rewatched except Two Weeks. If you had watched cdrama  Angels fall sometimes, you should try The hours of my life. 

Korean recently remake Go Ahead I think I mentioned before you can try. Family by choice. I watched Exhuma too wow those two really good actor and actress. The Fog I haven’t that was why I said kdrama pending so many. Even from last year.

Wahaaa all angsty shows… thanks. I like Kimura’s shows, but didn’t expect the show to be super dark and he mati!! Anyways.. Ah yes, I heard about the remake Go ahead. The frog is  pretty good.. thriller, a bit gory  cos it’s knoir which I liked haha… 

I need a break from angst...Liver recuperating. LOL

Maybe I should put the rewatch on hold....
