Korean Actors and Actress Who Deserve More Hype

I always like to say this but Heo Sung-tae. He has been getting roles as a villain and everyone knows him as a bad guy but he isn't popular. He became worldwide famous for Squid Game but there are many people who don't watch other dramas and movies of him. I saw him in Squid Game and I began watching nearly every drama and movie of him and he just wows me. I see he has followers who are mainly here for Squid Game and then they unfollow him but they should admire his other works. He's won awards for his work and I'm so proud of him and getting more offers but he isn't always talked about. He has just begun his first main role in Bait and I'm hoping one day he'll be up for Best Actor or Popularity. I love promoting and supporting him on social media because he is a kind soul and a Scene Stealer who we should all get to know. I'll recommend dramas/movies and if you want more please ask me :)

Literally Lee Min Ki, I HATE how underrated he is for that level of talent and handsomeness.

I really like the actors who are rarely mains. These two, whose names I can find, are among my favorite.

1. Kim Won Hae - he is an amazing actor, very versatile.

2. Park Jin Joo - always seems to get cast as the comic relief. I like her style.

Kim Sung oh! And I feel really bad because he's aging out so I don't think he'll ever get the leading man roles he so deserves. This man can play anything (and has!).  There a scene in Becky's Back (aka Come Back Baek hee) where he gets into a fight and the expression on his face will take your breath away because his anger is just so real. Yet, nobody does comedy better.  Sometimes I think that his success as a comedic actor hurt how far he could've gone. ?

He's had a few main roles. I think some actors prefer playing supporting roles as they get to play such diverse characters, take on quite a few more roles in a given year and in some ways stay out of the spotlight and thus not be under such pressure.

Both are really, really good and enjoyable to watch. Have you seen/heard Park Jin joo singing on her YouTube channel? She's got one of those clear as a bell yet powerful voices.
