Synopsis:

The story of a family with four sons who live together with their relatives on a farm near Seoul. Hwang Tae Hee is the third son and a policeman who falls in love with a girl named Baek Ja Eun. Baek Ja Eun is a haughty young woman who only believes in her pretty looks and is quick to flare up in anger.

I'm on episode 6 so far. This is a 50 episode drama and while that does intimidate me a little bit I have heard a lot of very good things about this drama. It is making a real star out of Joo Won and Uee is quite good. I'm going to try and stick with it. If the episodes continue to be as entertaining as the first 5 I will keep going.

It's almost over Biya...40 something of the 50 episodes have aired and 44 are subbed at DC. By the time to reach the end it will probably be all completed. NO waiting...

ohh nice !! Thanks Jeanie-ssi... umm estimate will be three weeks if i want to watch this drama all subbed.. i bet if it is as good as we i assume it is then it will take me most probably 3 days to watch all 44 epi .. :D Biya be patient.. be patient :( Aahhh !!!

Oh, goodie - I was meaning to try and add a thread for OB, but didn't get to it (and I thought it was just me and star watching this!!)

I've been hooked since around ep 6, and it's been steadily getting better and better, Uee is doing so well - her acting is going up in my regard, and Joo Won is terrific (methinks). I read that they're doing an extra 8 episodes, so, Yay for that!

KBS's weekend family drama, "Ojakgyo Family" recorded a viewer rating of 33.3%. Because of its soaring popularity, the producers decided to add eight more episodes to the series and now with a solid background of the characters in the second half, the drama will expectedly finish strong in 2012. Even receiving eight different awards at the KBS Drama Awards which was held back in December of last year, this comedy-drama revolves around a family that lives on Ojakkyo Farm with four grown sons.

I wasn't really expecting anything of this when I picked it up, it was a total random choice (started watching before I joined MDL, and now have more things to watch than I have time to watch 'em), but I definitely do not regret getting sucked into OB (although I almost dropped it to start - the family were soooo mean!!) - it's been steadily increasing the pace, and now that we're on the final stretch I can't wait to see how it will pan out. There haven't been any dull spots - so I have high hopes for the extra episodes!

This like one of my Fav that strated last year , I'm not really a UEE fan but sure you got to give the girl props for doing a great job, though I have to admit that I started watching this only because I knew Ryu Soo Young was playing in it, and I have since not regretting any minute he comes on... TB and SY are my fav characters next to the mom.

yup I really don't like how things are going there now, well you'll see what happens in the next episode :/
