2024 a very poor year for historical kdramas

Only a handful of historical kdramas have been released this year, and only two of them (IMO) are worth watching.

Oh wow, that isn't very many you're right.

Plus side, the ones we're getting seem very promising? I loved Uncle Samsik (not for everyone but I enjoyed it a lot) and I've been looking forward to both Won Gyeong and Queen Woo for around a year now.

(Also Pachinko but I need to check out the first season too).

It is curious why there are so few - I love a good sageuk.

I can't agree more!

Love Song for Illusion - one of the worst Kdrama this year to me.
Captivating the King - the first half was truly captivating, but the rest was just downhill, SSK's acting still bland throughout the years!

Knight Flower - I have high hopes for this, can't wait to enjoy it after I have enough time to binge-watch.
